Let me start by saying.....Thanks so much for taking time to learn a little about me, Mark (the greatest man I know besides my daddy who is one of a kind.....hehe) and my children!

Allow me introduce myself....I am Karen and with me in the picture below are my daughters, Whitney and Katelyn. My son Aaron took the picture for us (what a great guy huh??) This picture is severl years old, but has always always been one of my most favorites.  We are from Lawton, Oklahoma. My children and I have been on the net for about 10 years now, and have really enjoyed getting to know many new people from many different parts of the United States. We truly love to meet people from our own Great State of Oklahoma!

This is me with Aaron.  I haven't allowed myself to take many pictures with my kids over the last few years, but since I've started on a new journey in my life, I am finally not hiding behind the camera anymore!  My son....takes my breath away with his tenderness, and genuine genuine love!

I have three great kids and enjoy staying home with them very much. (Who says being a mom and homemaker isn't a full time job!) For now, they will be included on my page...so I can at least brag about them a little!!!!

I am now 43 and have many favorite activities of my own. Although I like to be outside during the spring and summer, I'm not much for the cold weather. I love to cross stitch, make country crafts, read, work on the computer, and of course, meet new people.  I have a new found love for scrapbooking also....and my things are beginning to outgrow my room.  I was always very active in my daughters elementary school but since they have now moved on to Jr. High and High School I get to enjoy just being "mom" instead of "incharge".  I simply love it! I also like to go fishing, camping, and love to swim. I am a very dedicated Kansas City Chiefs fan, and of course am dedicated to the Kansas City Royals. I am also a

KU Jayhawks fan!

Now that my son attends Oklahoma State University, I have to cheer for them as well.  My money goes there, so obviously, my support is there as well.  Woohoo  GO POKES!

I feel as though I am a very compassionate person, love to help people whenever possible, and try to instill this in my children. I am a romantic at heart, love to cuddle, watch movies (even cry over the sad ones) and laugh at some till my sides ache. I worked a full time job until about 8 years ago and have since become very accustomed to staying home with my kiddos and taking care of the most special man in my life. My youngest is in Eighth grade, I do love the afternoons when it is time for the kids to come in from school.  Hearing about their day is very exciting and interesting to say the least. Mark and I also take the time during the day when he is off to spend some time together......believe me, he truly has me spoiled. I'm sure that by getting to this page, you must have started at the page where our "true love" began. I must say that for the first time in my life....I know that happiness is an everyday assurance in my life. Truly this man makes me so very happy! Now meet Aaron, Whitney, and Katelyn

Aaron

Aaron is now 20 years old, and truly an amazing child. He's an "A" student and has just started his sophmore year in College.  It has been quite a change for him living on his own, but he's doing very well.  This year he got his own apartment and that has truly made a big difference for him.  He can cook, and has room to move about as well as being able to do his own laundry.  He seldom ever has to study! When he was younger he was  very active in sports! He has wrestled for 5 years, making it to the State Championships for Oklahoma 3 times. He was also involved in Taekwondo 5 1/2 years and is a second degree black belt. He has been to the Taekwondo Federation Championships 4 years in a row as well! He plays baseball, first and catcher base being his favorite positions.  Aaron also likes to be outside, camping, fishing, and hanging out with friends, and he's a big computer gamer...drives his mom crazy!!!  Aaron is a Kansas City Chiefs fan, like his momma, (although he will support the Chargers just for Mark on occasion)! I feel as though he was truly a blessing sent to me from someone watching over who knew that my daughters that were to be the larger "plan" and would need a big brother to rely on! What a great brother he is to his sisters.

Whitney

Wow, what can we say about Whitney. She is now 15 years old, and definitely the most dramatic of our 3 children. She has just started the 8th Grade (gosh how time flies). She is destined to be a model or an actress someday! She's very petite and LOVES to wear dresses and of course  all of the latest fashions.  It is becoming difficult to find things in her size.  She got a tiny tiny waist and long long legs.  Can you say 00 slims (double zero slims)?  That's what size she wears. She provides our family with many laughs and hours of entertainment. Whitney was involved in ballet, tap and jazz, and loves it all! She has also been involved in Gymnastics for several years competing around the state of Oklahoma and doing quite well I might add!  It started out so she told us "to help her be a cheerleader". Well, apparently it really helped that she can tumble her butt off because she is a Cheerleader for our Eisenhower High School and is one of the flyers.  It scares me when they lift her, but the thrill is exactly what she's all about!   Whitney too has been a blessing and an everyday challenge to keep up with. She has more energy than you can imagine! I truly believe she is a child that can become anything she desires.

Katelyn

Katelyn is now 13, and definitely the comedian in our family. Katelyn started 8th grade this year and is loving it.  She is an extremely happy little girl, and always able to provide our entire family with a good laugh. She of course, loves to be the boss (which isn't easy with siblings) and feels there is no other way other than her own. What a pistol she is! She is very very involved in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, modern and hip hop  and loves every minute of it.  Katelyn is also active in Vocal Music at her school and was selected to be in a special group called Pizzazz!  I simply love to watch her perform...there's a certain twinkle in her eye when she's singing on stage!  Guess what?  She's still keeping up with her sister, she too is a cheerleader for her school this year!  Woohoo!!! Katelyn is of course my baby although she is growing up much to fast, and I feel like I received quite a jewel when I was blessed with her. Everyday is a new experience!
