~Holiday Pretzels~

 

1 tablespoon red coarse decorating sugar

1 tablespoon green coarse decorating sugar

1 tablespoon white coarse decorating sugar

18 ounces vanilla candy coating, cut into pieces

1 package (10 ounces) 3-inch-wide Bavarian Style pretzels

In a small bowl, combine red, green and white decorating sugars. Stirring frequently, melt candy coating in a heavy medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat. Working with 6 pretzels at a time, dip each pretzel into the candy coating. Transfer pretzels to waxed paper. Sprinkle pretzels with sugar mixture before coating hardens. Store in an airtight container in a cool place.

Yields about 2 dozen pretzels
